In 2017 a smaller performance “Black Box” theatre was approved by voters in the town of Telluride. The vision for the space was that it to be used for smaller more intimate performances, rehearsal, and education space. In 2018 the theatre was named for long time Telluride resident “Glider” Bob Saunders. The Bob Saunders Theatre has state-of-the-art sound and lights and can seat up to 175 guests for a real up close and personal guest/artist experience. The “Bob” theatre is proving to be one of the most versatile and intimate performance spaces on Colorado’s western slope
