The Metropolitan Opera Live in HD: Summer 2020 and 20/21 Season Information

Summer 2020 update: To date, we are unsure if the Metropolitan Opera will be providing a Summer Encore Series.  As decisions are made, we will update our website and communicate with our opera patrons via eblasts.

Fall 2020 update:  What has been confirmed is quite sad news – due to the current health crisis, the Metropolitan Opera has canceled their fall 2020 performances.  Click here for more information.  We sincerely hope to be able to provide the Met Opera programming at the Palm beginning in January of 2021 when seven operas will be featured.  The three HD transmissions scheduled for the fall will be replaced by encore showings of past presentations of the same titles: Verdi’s Aida and Il Trovatore and Beethoven’s Fidelio.  Dates and times for Palm screenings is yet to be determined.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.

The Met’s 2021 season of Live in HD movie-theater transmissions will be announced soon.   The Palm is able to present a majority of the transmission with a live feed, but in those instances where scheduling conflicts prohibit the live transmission, we offer encore presentations.

Tickets available at the door for all operas:
